play with colors blue jeans and Dolce&Gabbana

Playing with colors and blue jeans: it’s easy!

Jacket: Sseinse
Shirt: 7Camicie
Belt: Dolce&Gabbana
Jeans: Levis
Shoes: Lorenzi

Use what you have in your wardrobe

So you wonder how you can dress good if you don’t have that particular dress or trousers?
As you can see in the picture above, I am wearing blue jeans. Now many people would say “blue jeans are for free time or a casual look”. Not exactly. I like to wear blue jeans as a starting point to create a style.
What do blue jeans may have in advance over elegant trousers? You feel comfortable wearing them, plus you can go wherever you want without feeling inappropriate or overdressed.

Play with colors

Another important thing is to play with the colors. Again, use what you have in your wardrobe.
For this outfit I have chosen red as the main color. As you can see the shirt is red, the tip of the shoes are red as well, and if you look carefully, you will see horizontal and vertical red lines on the jacket.
Plus, there is a red button on the left side of the jacket’s lapel.
At this point you are almost done. You decided your main color, and it’s matching with other clothes.
Now choose one or two other colors and you are done. In my case it’s the blue jeans and the black&white jacket.

Special touch with details

To finish off your style, add those special details, like accessories for example. I am wearing a Dolce&Gabbana belt and shoes from Lorenzi. I love this Dolce&Gabbana belt because it’s shiny and has a big buckle.
The shoes are pretty particular, the color is dark green and the tip is red.

As you can see it’s pretty easy. Use what you already have in your wardrobe. Choose the main color for your style, possibly to match with other clothes and then 1 or 2 other colors for the other clothes.
Add at the end something special like e nice belt, particular shoes, a nice watch or a bracelet and you are done.
